How it works
A clinic day with and without Internet, and the Smart Card that finds the record in a second.
A day at the clinic, with and without Internet
The network drops at 10:15 and comes back at 1:05 pm. Here is what the team sees in between.
- Rose arrivesThe front desk scans her health card: her record opens and she takes her place in the queue.
- ConsultationDr Joseph reviews previous visits, writes her note and signs it.
- The network dropsA banner on screen says so. Nobody needs to stop.
- A new patientRecord created on the workstation with a number reserved in advance, then added to the queue. No Internet
- Cash deskPayment in gourdes, numbered receipt printed right away.No Internet
- The network is backThe workstation sends everything that was done. Records are up to date for the whole team.
The patient health card
Every patient gets a card with a QR code. Shown at the front desk, it opens the right record in a second, even when two patients share a name.
- Scanned with the front desk phone or workstation.
- Printed at the clinic or kept on the patient’s phone.
- The code alone reveals nothing: a clinic account is needed to open the record.
